NewsLancer Gymnasts Take 3rd At Conference Congratulations to the Boys Gymnastics Team who closed out the 2009 season at home in fine fashion by placing 3rd in the conference meet last night.
The Lancers were led by Gary Soper who turned in one of the greatest performances ever in the history of IHSA boys gymnastics on rings. Gary scored a 9.9, one tenth shy of a perfect 10.0, en route to the conference championship. His score shattered the previous school record (which he shared with Brandon Orna 98 at 9.55) and posted the highest score ever recorded in state history

Along with Gary Soper,
were all named as All-Conference!
Great Job Lancer Gymnasts. It appears our guys are peaking at the right time!
