The Lancer Boys Gymnastics Practice Room

The Lancer Boys Gymnastics is through the doors on the north side of the Lake Park High School East Campus gymnasium.

The Boys Gymnastics room is approximately XX' x XXX' and the floor is configured with wall-to-wall the gymnastic apparatus and safety mats. The interior walls are padded with mats up to five feet in height providing protection for the gymnasts.???.

The room is equipped with:

• 3 sets of still rings,
• 1 ring cage (Only used for meets)
• 1 runway and vaulting table,
• 2 sets of parallel bars,
• 1 high bar,
• 1 strap bar (Used to teach and practice giant swings),
• 2 pommel horses, and
• 1 tumbling floor

While the room is packed with equipment and practicing gymnasts, there is room to practice routies without interuption to refine their techniques in the respective diciplines.

A stereo system is in place to allow cassette tapes and compact disks to be used to motivate the Lancer boys gymnastics team during practices and workouts.
