What is your gymnastics nickname? Nep In what events do you compete in (most often) ? I compete in pommel horse and parallel bars. When did you begin competitive gymnastics (Grade) I started in freshman year, 9th grade.What do you like most about gymnastics or a specific event? I like how parallel the bars are to one another, it’s just crazy to think that the bars are always parallel. What do you least like about gymnastics or a specific event?I least like when the pommels are hard and scaly. It hurts my hands. What do you do to prepare for an event? Listen to Michael Jackson! Use one to three words that describe you. Loud, Funny, Dumb. What do you consider your greatest gymnastic accomplishment - so far? My greatest accomplishment is winning 1 st place on pommels at the Lake Park Invite and making it to state. What hobbies do you have? I have a number of hobbies including sleep, watching T.V., playing video games, and listening to music. What other sports do you participate in? I did soccer 9 th and 10 th grade but quit to do gymnastics in the fall. Who is your favorite teacher? Why? Mr. Roleck because he showed me that physics is life! What is your favorite LPHS subject? Why? Math, because it’s the only subject that makes sense. What is your favorite food? Pizza with pepperoni and bacon! What is your favorite TV show? I like Lost, Heroes, Simpsons, and Desperate Housewives. What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie is Lord of the Rings. Who is your favorite band or musician? I like a number of groups including Muse, Radiohead, Arcade Fine, Stars, Killers, Electric, President, Interpol, Modest Mouse, and New Porno-Graphics. Tim Allen If you have pets, what can you tell us about them? I have a dog, Chiko. He is a little 5 pound doggy What one word would you use to describe boys high school gymnastics? Fantastic! When you are done with gymnastics at Lake Park, how would you like to be remembered? As the greatest Rock star that has ever lived! What is the name of the song you would sing on American Idol? What artist? High and Dry - Radiohead Describe your dream car. Topless, and filled with similar women. Who would you take on your dream date? Scarlett Johansson Favorite breakfast food? Bacon Which gymnastics coach has the best sense of humor? Coach Anderson What is something you do not want to hear from the coach? "You disappointed the team". Which gymnast is the best dresser on the team? Why? Adam Fogarty, he is just so fantastic looking. What is your favorite phrase from the coach? Which coach? “Sloppy Joes, looks nice…” from Keith Matune Where is your favorite place to relax? I'd say my bed. How do you want the 2008 Lake Park gymnastics team to be remembered? I'd like us to be remembered as the greatest team in IHSA history!! Please describe your most difficult move and for what event you perform that move. I do a Sherlock! Basically it’s a move, but with a front out loop off all at the same time performed on the Pommel Horse. What is your personal goal for the 2008 boys gymnastics season? My goals are to score an 8.9 on Horse, score and 8.9 on P bars and earn an IHSA state ring.
